GREAT NEWS!!!! The Veterans Network Committee Hub of the Honor Flight, is gearing up for takeoff.
The trip will start it’s journey from Moretti’s in Bartlett Illinois on the 20th of August and return to a packed house, of well over 1,000 people to say welcome home, at Moretti’s on the 23rd
What is the big deal? The VNC Hub of the Honor Flight is a 4 day 3 night trip that visits Arlington Cemetary, The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and views the Changing of the Guard and numerous other military museums, monuments and places of honor.
The VNC philosophy: The 4 day 3 night trip is not a race to see how many vets can get to how many places in the shortest amount of time. IT IS about the Veteran visiting the places that were built to remember those lost in the conflicts that they served in. It is about the comeraderie of fellow vets that served in the same places and those who served at different times. It is about the sponsors that help the Vets that need it and hear the stories that the vets have never told anyone before. It is a once in a lifetime experience that the Veterans have earned and deserve.
Eligability: While we try to get every WWII, Korea and Vietnam Veteran, there is always room for more Veterans from other conflicts as well. If you want to know more, please check out the flyer below and contact us.
